On April 29th, a family was losing their
home. Officer Pelland responded to provide emergency boarding for the
animals they couldn’t take with them. There were two litters of kittens, one
only a week old, and the other two weeks old. All of them black Some of them polydactyl, with extra toes.
Luckily both litters still had their mothers. After arriving at the shelter,
Officer Pelland checked them in and relayed important information to animal health staff. each kitten received an incoming exam, checking their weight,
sex, and vitals. One mother cat was anxious to be reunited with her babies so she had her incoming exam with them close on the table. Kitten season is here, and each day brings new urgent cases and lives to save. Your support gives them everything they need to survive and thrive.
